Have the ZOO come to YOU!

Educational and entertaining, this hands-on birthday party presentation includes a variety of domestic and exotic animal ambassadors that your junior zookeeper can help us select.

Bonus - We will pack some treats as some animal ambassadors may enjoy a healthy snack during the show.

What happens during the show

You and your guests will join us for a hands-on trip around the globe! We will all sit on the floor in a semi circle and  using our trusty squishy pillow globe, move from continent to continent meeting our animals. Each animal is brought out and introduced one at a time so you can learn some neat, fun and sometimes hilarious or gross information about them. Once the introduction is over, your animal handler will bring the animal around the circle letting your guests hold or touch the animal safely under the handler's direct supervision.

After we are done meeting an animal it is put away into its carrier. Animals are never left unsupervised or free to roam your home.

It's fun. It's safe. It's educational and respectful.

In operation since 2006, Creature Quest is fully insured,  licensed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF), voluntarily and regularly inspected by the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Animal Wish List

Meet the animal ambassadors that are currently travelling to birthday parties. Most animals can be gently touched or held by your guests.

While we will do our best to bring the animals requested, we are unable to make any guarantees.

A hedgehog will travel 1 - 2 km a night in search of food.
This frog has super sticky feet that help it in its natural habitat.
Rabbits were first domesticated during medieval times!
The chubby tail of this lizard is a fat store and self-defense!
All those colours and spots, help this tortoise camouflage.
When a hermit crab gets bigger, it finds a new shell on the beach to move into.
Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
The largest land salamander in world, this amphibian can be 35 cm long!
One way this domesticated rodent communicates is by using different squeaks, squeals and chirps.
Perfectly adapted to life in the water, a caiman's eyes and nostrils are on top of its head.
These amazing arthropods glow under UV light.
Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
A snake uses its forked tongue to smell.
Found in New Caledonia, this gecko was once thought to be extinct.
Skinny pigs are guinea pigs with very little fur. This hairlessness is caused by a natural genetic mutation.
Spider silk is stronger than steel and more elastic than a rubber band. Pretty amazing!
Yes, this lizard's tongue is really blue. The colour is meant to startle possible predators.
You can tell individual ball python apart by the slight differences in their markings.
Being an omnivore, this handsome lizard eats a variety of plants and small animals.
This frog lays its eggs on a leaf above water. When the tadpole hatches it drops into the water below.
Unlike many other turtles, a box turtle spends most of its life on land.
This milksnake is an opportunistic hunter, eating eggs, small rodents, small birds, bugs - and even other snakes!
Critically endangered in the wild, chinchillas roll in volcanic sand and dust to clean their very dense fur.
